Your initial booking payment has already been received and your place in the workshop has been reserved. This payment is simply the remaining balance of $400, which must be paid before heading to the workshop.

What You'll Learn

This workshop is focused specifically on photographing the Milky Way at Lundbreck Falls. You'll learn how to plan and capture the Milky Way in the landscape, including:

• Camera settings for night-sky photography

• Manual focusing in low-light conditions

• Choosing the right composition for the Milky Way

• Exposure and ISO techniques

• Working with multiple exposures

• Capturing multiple frames for stacking

• Techniques for reducing noise and improving image quality

• Practical shooting techniques in the field

• Post-processing your Milky Way images

The workshop also includes guidance on post-processing, allowing you to take the images captured during the workshop and turn them into a finished photograph.

• DSLR or Mirrorless Camera with manual mode

• Wide-angle lens — f/2.8 or wider is preferred

• Sturdy tripod

• Fully charged camera batteries

• Empty memory cards

• Headlamp or flashlight — red light mode is preferred

• Remote shutter release — optional

• Lens cleaning cloth

Please arrive with your camera equipment ready and your batteries fully charged. Night photography takes place in dark conditions, so a headlamp or flashlight is strongly recommended.
