By booking a workshop or photo tour with Ammar Yasir (Broach Media Inc.), you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to workshops and tours in Canada and internationally.
1. Non-Refundable Payments
All workshop and tour payments, deposits, booking fees and payments for digital or framed artwork are strictly non-refundable.
Once an order is confirmed, preparations and financial commitments begin immediately, including but not limited to:
• Securing and reserving your workshop or tour spot
• Limiting or declining additional participant bookings to maintain a quality experience and avoid overcrowding
• Purchasing photography permits and location access permissions
• Planning routes, logistics, schedules and scouting arrangements
• Administrative processing and workshop or tour preparation expenses
• Advertising and marketing costs, including Meta (Facebook & Instagram) campaigns, Google Ads, search engine marketing (SEM), promotional materials and other digital marketing expenses incurred to promote the workshop or tour
Because these arrangements involve upfront costs and reserved availability, refunds cannot be provided for cancellations, no-shows, scheduling conflicts, travel issues, weather concerns, personal emergencies, illness or any other unforeseen circumstances.
2. Participant Responsibility & Tour Inclusions
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are available and able to attend the workshop or tour on the scheduled dates.
Inclusions vary between workshops and tours in Canada and internationally. Some packages may include transportation, accommodation, meals and other services, while others may include only transportation and accommodation. Please refer to the inclusions and exclusions listed for your specific workshop or tour to understand what is covered.
Participants are responsible for arranging transportation, accommodation, meals and other services only where these are not included in their booked package. Participants are also responsible for their travel documents and personal equipment.
3. Weather Conditions & Rescheduling
Landscape photography workshops and tours operate in natural outdoor environments where weather, lighting, wildlife activity and environmental conditions are unpredictable and beyond the organizer’s control.
Weather conditions for all workshops and tours are carefully monitored using official weather applications, forecasts and local environmental sources before departure.
Workshops and tours will only proceed when weather and environmental conditions are considered favorable and reasonably safe for the planned photography experience.
If weather conditions are determined to be unsuitable, unsafe or unfavorable for the workshop or tour, a new date may be scheduled depending on future weather conditions and location availability.
Participants are responsible for ensuring their own availability for any rescheduled dates. For international workshops or tours and other travel-based experiences, participants acknowledge that schedule changes may require extended stays, modified travel arrangements, airline ticket changes, additional accommodation expenses or visa extensions.
Any costs related to travel changes, transportation, accommodation, visa extensions, insurance claims or related personal expenses remain solely the responsibility of the participant.
Weather-related rescheduling or itinerary adjustments do not qualify for refunds.
4. Schedule & Location Changes
Ammar Yasir Photography (Broach Media Inc.) reserves the right to adjust workshop or tour schedules, shooting locations, meeting times or itineraries when necessary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, government regulations, permit restrictions, road closures or other unforeseen circumstances.
5. Cancellation by Organizer
In the unlikely event that a workshop or tour must be cancelled by Ammar Yasir Photography due to severe weather, safety concerns, emergency situations or circumstances beyond reasonable control, participants may be offered either:
• A rescheduled workshop or tour date, or
• Credit toward a future workshop or tour
Refunds remain at the sole discretion of Ammar Yasir Photography (Broach Media Inc.).
6. Liability
Participants understand that outdoor photography activities may involve certain risks, including uneven terrain, wildlife encounters, changing weather and remote locations.
By participating in a workshop or tour, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks and responsibility for your personal safety, belongings, photographic equipment, transportation and overall well-being during all workshop or tour activities.
7. Agreement
By submitting payment and confirming your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
